A WORD FROM THE OWNER
The beginning of the business started in 1995 with the harvest of my first trophy buck near Arcadia during the gun season. I decided to have the trophy mounted by a taxidermist near my hometown of Colby, WI. At his shop, I was very intrigued by all of the mounted animals displayed, which led me to buy a couple of manuals and call taxidermy supply companies for information.
Through the next five years, I started very slowly in our basement doing five to 10 animals a year, mainly for family and friends who donated bucks to practice on. A special thanks to my wife and children for putting up with taking over the basement with stuffed animals!
The next 10 years were very satisfying as I moved the business to my shop and expanded on a yearly basis. You can find some of my work at various deer shows in the Arcadia area. Gaining more experience through these years has allowed me to improve my techniques and provide a quality mount that excites my customers. The business has expanded through the years, and presently, I handle deer, elk, antelope, bear, small mammals, fish, birds, and various euro and horn mounts.
